This was my first home buying experience and not only did she happily show me all the homes within my price range and with my desired features, but she also pointed out possible drawbacks and hidden problems I might encounter with properties that otherwise looked good “on paper”. Once I had come to a decision she helped guide me through the whole process, providing me with several contacts and recommendations for certified inspectors, home insurance agents, and escrow agents. She has continued to be helpful, even after escrow closed and her job is “done”; recommending contractors for some work I will want done on the deck, explaining the fire abatement rules to me (with her position as a Fire Commissioner really coming in handy!) and finding help to clear out the house when the original owners left materials behind.
